Topic: What to Carry With You Into the Woods.

Every year thousands of people go into the woods seeking adventure and nature, only to find themselves in a world of hurt when tragedy strikes. It doesn’t take much to impact a simple day hike. Disorientation, dehydration, and dislocation are all very common incidents that lead to someone being stuck out in the wilderness in need of rescue. In the event that rescue does not come, you will wish that you had brought some essential survival gear. Use this list as a guide before packing for your next trip.

Gear Checklist

*This list is only a guide to help you pack for your next trip.  It is NOT intended to be an exhaustive list where you pack every item on the list.  The more you know the less you carry.

It is important that whether it is hiking through the woods, or just going through the routines of life, you need to be equipped for whatever may come.  Having a prepared mind will help you overcome the obstacles you will face, and very well could save your life.

What are 3 Gear Items You Would Add? Add 3 Items to Other.

Bible Verses: 1Pet. 5:8 / John 10:10 / Eph. 6:10-18
Read Verses and Reflect: Just as survival gear will protect us from the elements of the wild, the Armor of God will protect us from our enemy the devil. Be sure to note that it says he is “like a lion.” He is only as powerful as you let him be in your life. Put on the armor that you may stand, thrive, and live abundantly.
